Greetings

I have started this blog to be a partner for myself in 2010. I am currently a bit over stressed and overweight and over booked. There in lies my goals for this new year.
I want to loose weight, but more importantly I want to be a healthier person. I want to walk, stretch, breath and eat better. I know what I need to do I just need to do it!
I want to learn to say NO. I have had two days over this holiday season in which I did close to nothing!!!! Can you believe that? Nothing all day long. Most folks experience this at least once every two weeks or so. I volunteer at Church, the kids school, in Non-profit orgs. I never have a day of doing nothing unless I am traveling on vacation. I want to to make sure that one day every 2-3 weeks is unscheduled and does not get anything slid onto it. It will be my own personal retreat. I will not clean house, wash clothes or any of the endless duties that have to be done. I will not do them that day.
Finances are another of my goals for the new year. It is not that I have been doing poorly, but I can do better. I need to pay off several little debts. Really they are small. The largest is about $1300 in Student loans. I have to start savings for health cost and for our emergency fund.
These are my goals for the new year. Let's see how it goes...
